Welcome to the asia4safehandling.org website! This is intended to provide practical guidance on the safe handling of cytotoxic medicines in pharmacies, clinics and community settings. These guidelines have been developed by the panel of colleagues from published evidence or from accepted “best practice”.

We are in the process of refining the format of existing guidelines and to add new ones. Changes and additions will be flagged on the home page of this site. We will also review the guidelines at regular intervals to ensure they reflect current knowledge and any changes in health and safety legislation.

To help us to satisfy your needs, we will appreciate your comments and contributions on this site. I would encourage you to continue to share your thoughts and ideas with us. This site is designed to provide information and practical guidance to promote the safe handling of cytotoxic drugs. The development of this new-look site is ongoing, and you can expect several new features to appear over the coming months.
